My Dream Kitchen

I am trying to find a floor plan and I can't get out of my head my friend's house. I went over to her house to take inspirational pictures.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her kitchen and dining room. It is one big room.  This picture is as soon as you walk in the kitchen door that is off of the porch.

This is the dining room.  I didn't want a fireplace until I saw this one.

Just Dreaming

My husband and I have this dream of having acerage, so he periodically looks at MLS listings.  Last night he calls me in to look at this house.

I told him he is not allowed to show me beautiful houses that are out of our budget and too far away from work.  He doesn't know how this tortures this mind of mine.  But I wanted to post about it because I want to remember the porch and the KITCHEN.

Shutterfly calendars and cards

I first heard about Shutterfly from my favorite blog thepioneerwoman.com . I really liked what I saw on their website.  I always love giving our grandmothers calendars of their great grandbabies, So last Christmas I thought I would give them a try. (http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars)  When I received them in the mail, I was very impressed with the quality of the product and the quickness of the service.  (such an improvement from other companies I had used in the past.) When I opened the box and looked at my calendars, I was very impressed with how professional they looked. The pages for the calendar were made from very thick paper which made it more durable throughout the year. 

This year I am looking at trying out the Christmas photo cards http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-photo-cards. Which one do you like?  It is hard to choose because they have so many cute cards.

I wish I could show you a card with a picture of my family on it, but then that wouldn't be a surprise would it. (Who am I kidding I don't even have a picture yet.)  Hopefully picture taking with my three daughters (ages 3,5. & 6) will go easier this year than last year, but that is what I say every year.
